Refund Policy

How refunds work for Peelmark subscriptions, who to ask, and what we take into account.
Who handles refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
All payments are taken by Paddle as merchant of record, which means we do not issue refunds directly - Paddle does. We can and do raise requests with them on your behalf.
How to ask for one
Any of these works:
- Use the View receipt or Manage subscription link in the receipt email Paddle sent you when you paid.
- Go to Paddle's buyer support site at paddle.net and look up your order.
- Email us at support@peelmark.com and we will put the request to Paddle for you.
The window
We will consider a refund request made within 14 days of a payment, including each monthly renewal rather than only the first charge.
Requests are reviewed case by case by Paddle. One thing they weigh is how much of the month's allowance has already been used, because every image processed costs us real money with our image-processing provider. A request made before much has been used is straightforward; one made after most of a month's images have been processed is harder to grant in full.
If the service did not work
If Peelmark does not do what we said it does, and we cannot put it right for you, a refund will be considered even if you have used images. That is the case this policy exists for. Tell us what went wrong at support@peelmark.com and give us a chance to fix it first - usually we can.
Results varying in quality from image to image is not the same thing as the service failing. Background removal is automatic, and difficult images - fine hair, low contrast, busy backgrounds - come out less cleanly. We recommend trying the free allowance on the kind of images you care about before subscribing.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, you keep any withdrawal or refund rights the law where you live gives you. Nothing in this policy reduces them, and where they are more generous than what is written here, they apply instead.
Cancelling, and what happens to access
- Cancelling stops future charges. It is not itself a refund.
- After cancelling, your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a payment is refunded, access for the period that payment covered ends at that point.
How a refund is paid
Refunds go back to the payment method used, through Paddle. They are usually completed within 14 days of being approved, though how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card provider.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, costs us a fee whatever the outcome, and usually ends with the account being suspended while it is investigated. An email to support@peelmark.com is faster and we would rather sort it out with you directly.
